NTL World

NTL World, my ISP has recently started charging for their service (fine). I am amongst many who didn`t know before hand of this, and was merely only notified by email ( nothing written ) I believe that the consumer regulation act 1999 ( previously read, but now can`t find ) say that a minimum of 30 days written notice is required to change a contract, and that email is not permitted
as it infringes on the data protection act ( i.e. no-one knows who is at the other end ! )

I pursued them for a claim, and as usual they came up with some rubbish that clause 2 & 9 state they are within their rights.

I want to know where to find this act, and then i am going to chase them further.
